I have a lowrance h2o gps and it wont read my lakemaster chip

A "soft reset" can be accomplished by pressing and hold "Pages" key and press and hold "PWR" key till USA map comes on , then release both. A "hard reset" requires press and hold both "Z in" and "Z out" buttons and press and hold "PWR" button releasing all three when USA map appears.

SOURCE: lowrance not reading navionic

Make sure that the 5200c is set to read the Navionic card. You can set that under Map Data.

Why wont my lowrance endura outandback upload the 2010 lake master chip put in i updated the firmware and it still wont work

Two requirements:
1) You must have version 1.4 software on your Endura. Remove the map card, press and hold (10 sec.) the menu key until software information appears to see what you have. Upgrades are available on Lowrance's website.
2) You must have the Endura Compatible LakeMaster map card. These were made available in May 2010. The packages have an "Endura Compatible" sticker on the front.
Call LakeMaster regarding your options if the card is not Endura compatible.

Why wouldn't my ifinder h2o c gps not pick up any satalite signal

The most common reasons are thus
1) You do not have the right PORT and BAUD set
Consult the manual for the software.
2) You are noit in a location where the sky is visible to the unit)
move outside and away from buildings or electrical items
3) Your battery power is too low to get a fix

4) nThe SIIRF chip is damaged

My Eagle 642C iGPS does not work with Lakemaster chip

If you do not have the most current software upgrade, that may be the problem. Go to www.eaglenav.com. If a more current software is available, download per their instructions. Worth a try. That unit should display LakeMaster digital chars.

Loading Maps

MapCreate Topo does not have lake maps. There are 'some' maps on Lowrance's web site (Free Enhanced Lake Maps) but you may need to purchase lake maps on SD cards for the area you're interested in.
