I have a U-LINE ULN-BI98B-00 about 5 years old. i have replaced the water control valve once about two years ago. the ice maker doesn't make ice. the tray runs thru it's cycle just fine but there is n
it doesn't look like it. I just took the ice maker mechanism apart and there are three micro switches. Two run on the same cam and one works off the ice level arm. I pushed one of the two switches on the cam and the unit cycled and filled with water.it doesn't look like it. I just took the ice maker mechanism apart and there are three micro switches. No idea to be honest but does this cam turn as i think it must .if i had my nose in their then i could no doubt work out how it works thats for sure ,perhaps it turns to remove the ice and for whatever reason its stuck .No idea to be honest but does this cam turn as i think it must .if i had my nose in their then i could no doubt work out how it works thats for sure ,perhaps it turns to remove the ice and for whatever reason its stuck .

If you can get to the solenoid you could remove the solenoid connector. If it shuts off then I would suspect the ice maker timer. if it doesn't shut off I would suspect the water valve/solenoid.
At first I wanted to say it has to fill with water to make ice but I know you mean the ice bin is filling with water. You either have an issue with the water control valve leaking or your timer isn't working properly. Listen for the water to flow and when it seems to shut off look at the tray fill spout and see if it actually stopped dripping. If it continues to drip (not flow normally) then the valve is leaking. If it isn't dripping but the water in the ice tray over flowed, then the issue is either with the timer or the adjustment is incorrect.
If it overfills and drips, look for an adjustment behind the plastic endcover with a +/- on it. - is less water. If it continuously drips, replace the water inlet valve on the back where the house water supply comes in.
Ice maker water not stopping The water inlet valve may be staying open. You can swap the wires on the dual water inlet valve and disconnect the water line at the valve which goes to the ice maker. When you try the water dispenser the water will come out there. When you stop the water dispenser, if the water at the valve doesn't stop, the valve isn't closing so you'll need to replace it. If it does stop after trying it several times then the problem is with the ice maker.
Check Temp inside freezer. It has to be down to about 10 or 15 degrees See if water is in icemaker. Pour water in Ice Maker and wait to see if it ejects. If it ejects theb you need to replace water valve in rear bottom of fridge(Its the part that attaches to water line out of wall) If it doesn't eject then it is a faulty Ice Maker. If its leaking same part needs replaced. The water valve at the bottom rear of fridge. Thank you for using fixya Leo Ponder Please rate me if this helped.
Your thermostat is what advances your icemaker. You have 3 wires. When it calls for freeze then yellow(2) and blue/black(3) is closed. When that is satisfied the compressor and fan cycles off then the yellow(2) and red(1) is closed. This calls for the icemaker to advance. Red goes to icemaker, yellow is common, and blu/black is for the fan and compressor.
Hope this helps you. I would replace the thermostat
As crazy as this sounds, turn the temp control a little warmer (counter clockwise). On this model, this control needs to switch to harvest the ice. A warmer setting should fix this issue.
realized that there was nothing wrong with the unit....It is suposed to drain out water when running and need to jump start it...so alls good thanks for getting back to us...now were chilling.E.Bates
if the ice makers calling and its comming out of the doorthe valves are wired yhe wrong way around swop the wires from one valve to another. hope this helps
