Zanussi z918 washing machine wont empty or spin although the pump seems to work

pump might be blocked............

replace the carbon motor brushes and retry if it wont spin usually the water isnt taken out fast enought to satisfy the vaccume switch so its the pump the switch or an air lock
so empty the machine totally and expell all water from all hozes and check the waiste is aok for flow no jams your left with either the pump motor issues bits of b.a wires or the main motor brushes

Okay .First you need to say if the pump is working or jammed if you have cleaned the filter then its possible the pump needs replaced......

my machine takes in water, spins and lets the water out but it doesnt want to wash. what can i do?

flashing red start/pause button, wont spin or drain

Check the impeller on the pump free to move. if ok check electrical connections. if ok either pump is faulty or it could be main pcb (or both)

if its pumped all water out and wont spin sound like your motor brushes are worn.

Assuming its pumping out ok, sounds like motor brushes..if not pump clear filter..

Filter can be clogged, pump can be dead or water outlet clogged.
