Finally after months of driving around with the cable in my car and having to listen to the mp3 player with ear buds I can use the cable to get the music to come out of my car’s speakers, Thank God.
Turn the player to standby. Push menu and use the right knob to the right until it says AUX, the digital display makes it look like AUH, but turn that on and then you can play your mp3 on the car’s stereo

In order to access the AUX option the stereo needs to be in Standby mode. To do this just hit the SRC or source button until you reach the Standby option. Now hit the menu button and scroll up or down until you reach the AUX on/off option and just turn it on. Hope you find this helpful.
