Sony Ericsson W890i ringtone and alarm doesnt make noise. The walkman works it used to work i dunno how but stopd wurking need help please
The front speaker needs replacing. Songs/MP3's are played through the back speakers, thats why you can hear them when you play them individually.
Ive been quoted around £50 from an online mobile phone repair centre to replace it.
Needless to say, Ive sent my phone back for a refund, and i wont be buying this phone again.

I can listen to each individual ringtone happily but phone does not ring when called it will only vibrate. Silent mode is off and profile is normal and volume is at level 8. Key tones can be changed.

i have exactly the same problem, i can play all the ringtones individually bu i cnt hear a message or ringtone, it just vibrates

same problem. although phone was nearly a year old so got it replaced on warranty. replacement phone also stopped ringing after a week! so now gone from thinking the phone was cool to one that sucks
I put my phone on silent for a couple of hours one day, and when I took it off silent, it never rang again. No message alert or alarm sounds, although I can play these under settings and the walkman still works.
Mine also has the same problem and it's not even a year I own this phone. =(
