What wire do i need to hook up my 300w dual amp

You will need to purchase an Amp to run the sub off of (the amp in the Dual unit is not enough to run a sub). You will also need a wiring kit and a box for the sub.

Then you have found your problem. It's internal on the amp. Protection circuitry issue. Have it Benched at a shop with the same impedance you are running it at. If it benches ok, check your ground, it should be no longer than 18" and go directly to the floor frame, not a seat bolt. You should also be running at least
4ga power as well. Hope this helps.

You have an internal short or your pos/neg or speaker wire connections are shorted somewhere. Double check them and if they are good the amp is bad

Dual 4 ohm subwoofers can only be wired @ 1 ohm, 4 ohm or 8 ohm.
2 ohm mono load is not possible.
You will need to use (1) subwoofer to get the 1000W out of the amp.
Wire both positives on one sub to + on amplifier and both - on the same sub to - on amplifier to give the amplifier a 2 Ohm load.
Add a second amplifier, or buy an amplifier that is 1 ohm mono stable.
You can wire both to the amplifier at 4 ohms 600W, but they will share the power and only see 300W ea.

scanman84: i would recommend using the 2 channel 300W amp to drive the dual voice coil alone. i wouldn't combine the single channel amp with the 2 channel. you can't tie the 2 channel outputs together & use that on 1 voice & attach the single channel amp to the other, plus there could be slight differences in amplification & timing which, could cause the sub to have minimal movement or cause a canceling effect which would reduce the spl, sound pressure level. if you need more volume use the lowest impedence speaker recommended by the amp's mfg & if you need serious volume, go with a higher output single 2 channel amp. just make sure you have sufficient wire size to handle high powered amps. example, 8awg wire is rated for 73 amps. also make sure the amp is well grounded with nut & bolt connections to the frame & that there is good ventilation.

You probably need your remote wire re-hooked and make sure the ground wire is good and the remote wire is connected to the right wire(the red wire).

dual 2 or dual 4

dual 2 wire vc's in series for a 4 ohm load each. Hook each speaker seperate channels on the amp.

dual 4 wire vc in series for an 8 ohm load each. Hook both + to the right + on the amp and both - to the left - on the amp. or

dual 4 wire vc in parallel for a 2 ohm load each and hook each speaker to seperate channels on the amp.

check all the connections are good even hook a sub up to and cd player to see if it works if it does it will be the amp

okay u will have to troubleshoo the amp.....dose the amp light up?...when u have the radio on? also check your sub wires.going to the amp....make sure the rca'sare hooked up to the radio rear out puts are the radio sub out puts...and then test your amp gain adjustment...let me know if that work's
