My screen is cracked when i plug it up to another screen its still does not show it comes on but no picture on either screen

See the pictures below
if your whole screen shows an image and the cracks are in front of it then its just a cracked digitiser
if you dont see the whole image and tyou see horizontal and vertical line or an image like spilled liquid then your Lcd is also cracked too


this is a broken Lcd (the screen is distorted by the lines or no picture at all)

The percussive impact that has damaged the screen may have caused other internal damage to the camera. It may need repairs

SORRY, if the panel (it is called a display panel) is damaged this is the end of this set- fatal from a cost point of view as the part if available will cost more than the set did when brand new.

The display panel in all these sets is fragile as you have discovered--even a minor hit can destroy the panel.

If it looks like a crack, it is a crack. You may not feel it because the internal screen is protected by an outer screen. Pressure of some type is usually the cause of cracked screens. This is an expensive repair.

If there is picture in the TV then probably it is the protective screen that has cracked and not the picture tube.Please check carefully.

is the screen cracked? if the screen is cracked, then probably that is the reason why is not showing the picture. if the screen is not cracked or has not been accidentaly damaged then we can try to troubleshoot

If you see correct picture in Eye Piece view finder but dark picture in LCD that shows problem with connecting flexible wire between LCD board and Camcorder main board. It got cracked/ damaged or broken after some time due to open/ close of LCD in its position.
Replace that flexible wire and problem will be solved.

It's the same old story with LCD screens. If it is damaged or cracked a repair will cost you the same or more than a new TV to have an LCD panel replaced. The only answer is to buy a new set!

crack in the screen? well the screen is the end result of small light mirrors and a color wheel that can project up to and more than 16 million colors ...... so that screen is very important to recieving these light shows and making a nice picture. a crack ... yes you will see all kinds of crazy things... and even probably on your wall behind you.

need new screen and problably a nice check on alignment.
