I have paper jammed in Xerox 7700 rollers and cannot remove even though I release the green lever on right side. Do I need to release something else?

The green lever you are referring to are I'm assuming is on the fuser. If the paper is jammed in the fuser and you are unable to remove it try removing the fuser and trying to remove the paper again, there are two thumb screws that hold it in. Make sure the printer has been off for awhile because the fuser gets VERY hot. If paper is constantly jamming in the fuser or you are unable to remove the paper you should replace the fuser, part number 016-1887-00 iteminc.com offers them for $$235 new and $139 for a refurb. Hope this helps, good luck

Why would a Xerox 7700DN give a Ram Error on start up? Hello I am thinking about purchasing a used Xerox 7700 DN. I have been testing it out first and everytime I start it up it shows a RAM ERROR. I tried...

I personally recommend not purchasing this product. If a ram error is currently present it could be something as easy as the ram chip is going bad, or it could be the whole board going bad. Either way, it could cost more to buy and fix than it would to buy a newer unit without errors.

Xerox Phaser 7700DN jam at fuser

Those rollers are necessary to feed paper from the fuser. Order PN 116-1759-00 which is the 15 inch long shaft w/ 4 rollers

Xerox phaser 7700 paper feed transparency errors

There is a Transparency sensor (called the OHP) which is part of the Registration Transport 116-1164-00

Clean it first. Or replace the whole assembly

Xerox Phaser 7700DN color printer

I would be willing to be it's one of two things.

Most common is a jammed gear on the imaging units. Remove all imaging units CMKY. The turn on machine. If the noise is gone, start replacing imaging unit one at a time tile noise reappears. Replace defective imaging unit.

If that doesn't work remove the accumulator belt from the right side of the machine and then turn machine on, see if noise is gone. If so replace accumulator belt.
