You can download drivers and install from that. No CD needed, no diskettes needed.

You must have a CD.

Make sure the scanner is unlocked.

Try copying from ADF and scanner glass.

if you do not have a compatible type of driver on your CD kit download it via internet to make sure.. you can use either google or yahoo..just surf and you may find it exactly, take note: check your area if you are updating it like..if it requested to look for your country put on it.

You need to look back on the driver settings for the scan options. Compare the driver options on the computer that is working fine and note any difference and correct it accordingly.

According to your manual (below-Operating Systems) they just don't make Vista driver for it. So it is a compatibility issue, sorry we can not help.

if your lexmark scanner drivers are proeprly installed in your computer then u can see your scanner wizar in
settigns - control panel -scanner and camera wizard.
then open lexmark scanner and simply follow the procedure.

Go to www.lexmark.com and click on DRIVERS AND DOWNLOADS. Then use the DRIVER FINDER. In SEARCH BY MODEL, type in 3150 and you can choose a driver from there.

Type lexmark into google. I just visited their site & verified that there are drivers for 3150 printer posted.

Which operating are you using if your using (Vista use windows photo gallery to scan)
