I am afraid the TI 8920 is a rather old model of printer, with the Texas Instruments brand or printer long discontined and with the demise of Genicom there are no Windows 2008 drivers for this printer.
You may wish to use the Generic Text only printer driver inculded within the Windows Add Printers Wizard, I do not belive there is any alternative

I have printer genicom 4440 xt and have not a driver i want a diver for this printer thank you

Just try using a generic print driver in windows. This driver will send standard ASCII code and the printr should allow you to print standard text. try it.

Is there a driver available to make the genicom 3800 work with windows 7

Please check the Microcsoft compatability list (search it) for your answer. If the printer is listed, you are in luck, visit genicom for the Windows 7 compatable driver. If it is not listed, you still might find a driver at the manufacturer site. Make sure you get the driver for your OS.

Is there a driver available to make the genicom 4840e printer work with vista?

Get the 32bit XP driver and attempt to install it using compatibility mode or you can try this 3rd party driver but no official support for Vista.

TallyGenicom 2265+ not printing with custom paper size

There may be a number of causes for the problem you are seeing. There are a number of places which may hold the origin to the page length problem you are seeing, in order of precedence these are;

  1. The page size set in the software package printing the 6 x 4.25 cards
  2. The page size set the printer driver printing to the printer
  3. The page size set on the printer
I would recommend the follwoing;

  1. Set the form length on the printer to 6 inches (i am assuming this is the length of the card)
    The form length can be set through the menu and is normally set in lines (normaly the print size is set to 6 LPI) so the form length should be set to 33 lines
  2. Create a custom form size in SERVER PROPERTIES on the Windows XP machine to match the form size you are using.
    Ensure you select this form size in both PRINTER PROPERTIES and PRINTING PREFERENCES
  3. Try printing some Windows Test pages to see if these respect the page size selected withing the printer driver properties.
If the Windows Test Pages do not print correctly I would recommend checking how you are creating the CUSTOM SIZE form, perhaps create a new form and double check the form properties one it has been saved to confirm these are correct.

Check you are using the correct printer driver for the printer, you should be using the 2265+ printer driver. As a test you may wish to install the GENERIC TEXT printer driver or the EPSON LQ2250 driver, these will be included in the Windows Add Printers Wizard and should print OK to the 2265+.

If the Windows Test Page prints OK I think you would need to look at the software package printing to the printer. Ensure the correct page size is selected here also, perhaps try printing from another software package selecting your custom size form to see if these print correctly.

It is passable your software package is sending escape commands to the printer to call up the page size, I note you say Genicom printers printed ok from Win 98. The 2265+ may not have the same emulations as the Genicom printers.
You can print a menu print on both Genicom (if these are available) and 2265+ and compare the settings on these.

I do not believe the 2265+ has a Genicom emulation as standard, but you may be able to load an alternative version of firmware into the 2265+ which provides the Genicom emulation. If the data going to the printer contains Genicom Escape command to set form length this may resolve the issue.
You may need to contact your TallyGenicom support department for the firmware (I think it may be called 7265+ firmware)
If you are able to provide Hex Dumps of the data to the TallyGenicom support people they should be able to say what is going wrong with the form length setting.
