One of rear speakers don't work, have tried switching the two speakers around and it's not the speaker thinking it's the connection points or something to do with s air. is there any simple check s I can do or setting that could make it act this way. have tried re pairing the unit to the reciever and ect.

Basic checks first. Have you checked they are connected properly? Maybe used a different cable to check whether the rear cables are faulty? You may just have turned your system to 2.1 surrououn sound by accident or be playing a format that only supports 2.1. Check that in the system menu under dec. mode that if it is set to AFD STD that you are playing a DVD which shows can support 5.1 on the back of its cover. Also try running the setup manually and choosing your speaker configuration. Hope this helps.

With H.D.M.I. cable you still have to hook up audio out from t.v. or dvr converter box to the surround system audio in.
Also wireless ohones, baby monitors etc. can interfere with signal. You can try using b. or c, channels, and repairing. Both main unit and s- air sub unit must be on same channel a,b, or c.

try using another speaker for the center channel and the left speaker, also watch your ohm load, most of the want a 4 ohm load. try to narrow it down to see if it is the speaker or the amp.

I almost went out and bought a Sony HDMI cable but I tried something first and it worked me. I wrapped tightly the transceiver on the back of the main unit with aluminum foil and what do you know it fixed the problem. I guess since I was using a cheap HDMI cable the foil helped to shield out the interference. Sony HDMI cable $70.00 or aluminum foil 5 cents. Let me know if this works for you as well.
