Microwave 'starts' for a split second then aborts. screen keeps asking if i want to "start".
Hi it sounds like a bad door switch, cause they are so dangerous ,it won't let it run cause it thinks the door is open . they have safty door switches , If you don't know much about electricity don't go inside a microwave
Thanks for responding. I tend to think you're right, as the light will now stay on until the door is more firmly pushed shut. However, even when the door is completely shut, (the interior light goes off), the oven refeuses to work......
there is an adjustment for the door switch , look at it more carful you should see it , i find this happens when someone slams the microwave door to hard !
if you look at the finger that holds the door shut it is only plastic and will brake very easy , iknid of think they do this so that we have to buy parts !
