I had both ovens on for a party, someone tried to change time on the timer, pressed all kinds of buttons, now both ovens say OFF and I cannot get anything to work, any suggestions how to get out of this OFF mode?

My Miele was stuck in a loop repeatedly asking for more water, and then I got it stuck in a descale loop. I called Miele to ask them how to 'reboot' the factory settings, but all they would suggest is me booking a visit from an engineer. Expensive and pointless.
However, I then managed to find a video of someone entering the hidden Programming Mode for another model, and the same button combination worked for me.
Press and hold the timer button (the one with a bell picture on it) and then press and hold the power button at the same time, and let go of both together at the same time.
Then press the timer button alone 5 more times, and on the 5th press, hold for a few seconds. From there I played around with a few options until I found one that reset and restarted the descaling. I've linked to the video where he enters Programming mode after 2 minute mark. DG4082SS Steam oven
Sounds like the timer was set and time is up, the issue is whichever model oven it is has a specific way to stop the alarm. Some just require a simple pressing "cancel" while others use a combination of buttons. I would try pressing either the arrow up or down, if not present just press the "timer" button, see if the alarm symbol changes or disappears
Press the select button until the clock flashes ( you do this by looking at the time displayed and pressing the select button as required) Use the timer set button by rotating to correct time. Once the time is displayed wait 2 seconds for it to set.
Try turning off the oven at the main fuse box, remove the fuse/circuit breaker for 10 mins, insert the fuse/circuit breaker. This may reset the oven and you need to set up the time again.
A simple try you can do is to turn off the circuit breaker to the oven from your breaker panel. Wait about 3 minutes or so then turn it back on. This should hopefully "reboot" the oven panel.
If it is like my gas oven, press the - button until it beeps, without pressing the function button first. Then press - again and it will change each time. Stop when it makes a noise you like, or just pick the only audible one, which is the default.
Press the TIMER button (the leftmost one with a little bell icon) and the "cooking" button (the one next to it with a "hot saucepan" icon) briefly at the same time. Within four seconds start changing the time with the + or - buttons. When you have the correct time just leave it and it will leave time setting mode four seconds after the last button press.
Hi, switch off the mains for the cooker, wait for about 15 seconds then press the 2 buttons on the left and hold them, and then press the - or + button to set the time. Cheers
