My phone displays "Contact Service"

The message ”Contact Service” indicates that there may an internal problem with the phone. The following steps may help resolve the issue or give some indication as to the source of the problem:

• Remove and re-insert the battery according to the instructions in the user guide.
• Remove and re-insert the SIM card according to the instructions in the user guide.
• If your phone has a memory card, remove and re-insert it.

you may need a new battery, if so do as it says. contact the service.

contact service, i have a nokia phone too and its says when i turn it on,, contact service, the only thing that i did is to relash the phone and change the imei,

get it to service center if warranty is available or use nokia update service if available for his phone.
main thing make a flash to your mobile it will available in mobile service shops...it takes around 5mts to do that..and ur mobile ill normal

Maybe the hardware got wrong. Better u try to reset the software by restore factory setting. def password : 12345

the system of your phone maybe corrupted, the reason behind it is maybe you have fulled the memory, the contact service fault has two causes its either software failure or hardware failure, you should try first the software reprograming, you need tools, second is hardware, your phone serial no. maybe corrupted so the program is close you need to replace UEM IC, if theres a fualt withis IC it shows contact service.gud luck
