I would suggest to connect your Acer through wire (cable), install any good DriverInstaller and run it. Or, if you're computer literate, look for driver by using DEV_ID info from device properties. The other solution will be to buy an USB WiFi dongle.
Go to tools on internet explore 8,or earlier.Go to internet options at the bottom,a box will appear.Go to connections, and click on LAN settings.Make sure the the box that says,"detect settings automatically",is ticked. If it is ticked you'll have to uninstall the router and then reinstall it and see if your pc detects the wlan port.If it doesn't Go to device manager in control panel. You may have a yellow question mark next to the communication port.Update driver by right clicking on comm ports. No luck here then,go to manufacturers website download driver from there.
Code 39 means there is problem loading the driver, so make sure you have the right drivers and install them. Might be best to uninstall the current drivers and the reinstall the new drivers.
Hi
How old is this laptop? If it is brand new, then you
should be able to send it back to acer. Its the problem with drive or mainboard not with the drivers.
Thanks
