If thelaptop battery is more than 3 - 4 years old then the battery could be worn out.Rechargeable batteries have a finite number of charge and discharge cycles andwill lose their charge capacity over time, i.e. won't charge to 100% andgradually the charge reduces until the battery won't charge up at all. OR Thebattery shows a 100% charge but when the adapter is disconnected the batterydrops off to zero capacity in a very short time. If the battery drops to anunacceptable charge level then the battery needs to be replaced.

Sounds like a dead battery or power supply or both...check for a light on the power supply to prove it's connected.

I hadn't charged my Sony Vaio model PCG-61611L for a couple days. Then when I finally plugged it in to charge, it won't turn on. I even left it plugged in for a few days and still nothing. It has...

Try A Hard Reset

Remove the battery and charger/ac adapter/power cord from your Sony Vaio laptop, press and hold the power button for 20 seconds to discharge any residual current inside the laptop.

This clears your RAM and is like a hardware reset.

Replace the battery and charger/ac adapter/power cord
and turn your laptop on.

If that does't work try removing ram and reinstall. Sometime this works with these laptops.

Could be dirty contacts. Sounds like the laptop needs to be disassembled and hit with compressed air. If you try to do this yourself look up a service manual for the brand and model # of your laptop as once you take it apart you have to completeley reassemble it the same way:)

My computer won't charge! The problem is that where i plug in the charging adapter that "little hole" is loose and won't keep the adapter in, ultimately not letting it charge

This is really a physical damage to the slot for the plug.
There are some tweaks that you might try to keep it there, like pushing it and holding it with something, or use scotch tape or something similar, but ultimately it might affect the life of your battery.
There's really nothing substantial you can do other than changing the power adapter.

Baught a sony Vaio online but seller gave me the wrong personal password. I want to know if there is a way to bypass that? It is a Sony Vaio VGN-NR285E. Any Help will be greatly appreciated.

If it is a hard disk password, you will need to take it to a Sony repair shop or send it to Sony. If it is just a boot password, clearing the NVRAM should fix it.

Vista vaio survey has stopped working

VAIO Update has been disabled. Start , all Programs, VAIO Update 3, VAIO Update Options , Reenable the checkboxes and you shouldn't get the message anymore. This program runs at startup to check for updates with SONY, pretty useless.
