If this is connected to a computer you may be able to use a program called unknown device identifier, Also you can use the FCC regulation number

'unknown caller when someone calls by using phone dialer' sounds as though the dialler is blocking its identity, which you can prolly do nothing about.

OK, I will suggest you some simple solutions to have it fixed:
1. double-click on MY COMPUTER > HARDWARE > DEVICE MANAGER and see if your WLAN Card or your Network Card [or both] are visible there.
If they are NOT and you will see a YELLOW TRIANGLE and it says there UNKNOWN DEVICE try to update the driver. To do so
- right-click on the UNKNOWN DEVICE and select PROPERTIES > UPDATE DRIVER
or
- go on the manufacturer's website and get the update from there
After everything was done REBOOT and try to reconnect.

2. check if your device [computer/laptop] is properly connected to your MODEM/ROUTER.
Anyway try to REBOOT the modem too, and once the reboot was done input correctly your username and your password and reconnect to the Internet.

Does the computer have a built-in modem?

If you have a modem connected to a wireless router that is connected to the computer, turn all the devices off and turn them back on in this order.
1. modem
2. wireless router
3. computer

let the device start up all the way before you start the next device. (I.E. let all the lights on the modem come on before starting the wireless router and let all the lights come on on the wireless router before turning on the computer).

try using different USB port. if the it is unknown device. means the machine didn't recognized the device. you may have to install the device driver. (windows is a funny thing).

First check all connection.Then format the operating system and reinstall it.
