R52WH74 I'm trying to connect my computer with my TV via HDMI. I can see the computer on the tv, but the whole thing doesn't fit on the screen. I have tried all resolutions with it as well. The type of graphics card that I have is a 3D Accelerator ATI Radeon X1950 XT (R580). I used to play my Xbox360 on this tv in 1080i mode, but for some reason it really won't let me use my computer in the same fasion. Thank you to whoever can fix my problem in advance. :) Confused

I would like to post a correction. I'm not using HDMI I'm trying to use DVI to do this. I'm using a HDMI cable with a DVI adapter that goes into the back of the R52WH74 from the computer. Sorry for any confusion.

Lowest screen setting for ANY other screen can be an awlful default size. So if two or more screens to watch the computer are connected then this can happen.

IrishDruids advise, while be it appropriate for most brands, is not applicable on a RCA. The fuse location is on the main power supply, its not a glass fuse, but a box fuse at location fl231. You will also have to replace diode dl231.

First of all the adapters always give headaches with these TV's for some reason. Try changing to 16:9 instead of Cinerama. I do this by using the direction buttons on the remote left and right change this. Hope this info helps.

This is called convergence board failure. try to re calibrate the convergence. if the re calibration fails, this means your convergence board will need to be replaced or, rebuilt.

SOURCE: When using PS3 on RCA D52W19 TV, the screen does not fit ( it is zoomed and off-center) in 1080i resolution.

hello!
Have you tried to toggle "format" or "screen size"? On those sets non HD and HD settings could be adjusted separately. Try that, first. If no luck, try similar settings on PS3. I bet, you will be able to match screen format there, as well. To me it looks, like picture formats are mismatched. Also: try to use "component" cables, instead of DVI adapter cable, if nothing works.
good luck,
Alex.

To fix this go into your screen resolution settings on your computer while connected to your TV. Start at the highest possible resolution and keep moving down 1 setting at a time until you get to a setting that fits the screen perfectly.

I am trying to connect my new apple tv to my panasonic bt205 ht and then to my samsung tv. As I have only i HDMI socket in my Ht I bought a HDMI splitter. This doesn't seen to work. If I connect the...

The BT205 only has a HDMI Out so you need to connect both your BT205 and Apple TV to your TV either directly or through your splitter (depending how many HDMI Inputs your TV has).

You then need to connect either the Digital or Analogue Audio Port from your Apple TV to your BT205 and select the Audio Output from your BT205 as detailed on Page 27 of the manualat the link below.

http://tda.panasonic-europe-service.com/docs/2z4e3b157ez3z2a0dbz656ez706466z21z3703f025f4fa80ffdb9e5a7957895ca96b778f45/tsn2/data/ALL/SCBT205/OI/812908/rqt9445-b.pdf

This will give you the picture from your Apple TV to your TV via the HDMI and the Apple TV sound to your BT205 via the Audio Port.

The hdmi ports not whork whit my ps3 and my computer port

HDMI sends video from a component to a TV. It most likely will not send video from a PS3 to a Computer. Try connecting your computer to your TV via HDMI, and your PS3 to your TV via HDMI.

Connecting Ps3 with philips tv (full hd) when i got hd cable in, and click to switch so the ps3 uses hd to show things and i than switch over to the channel i plugin the hdmi cabel it gives blac kscreen

If it's the first time using your PS3, use the composite cables that came with it. Turn on the PS3 go to video settings and switch the input to HDMI. After you've switched to HDMI, turn the PS3 off and connect your HDMI cable, go back to video settings and change the resolution to 1080p. If this isn't the first time you've used HDMI for your PS3, make sure your T.V. is on the correct input. If the T.V. is on the correct input, try switching the HDMI cable to a different input. If that doesn't work try using a different HDMI cable, testing different HDMI connections if you're still getting the black screen. If none of those work then it's probably a problem with the PS3, but just to make sure try plugging something else with HDMI to see if that works. If another HDMI device works, then it's your PS3, if it doesn't then it could be a problem with your HDMI connections on the T.V.

PS3 not working on 42'' JVC via HDMI cable port

I have the PS3 and this TV and it works....Try this.

1. Turn ON TV
2. Connect HDMI from TV to PS3
3. Select the correct HDMI input on the TV for the PS3(important)
4.Turn OFF PS3 if it is ON.
5. hold [I/O] Power button on PS3
6. Wait about 5 second and you should get the "HDMI Detected" or some similar message.
7. Configure the HDMI output for the PS3

Also, If you set the PS3 to "auto" for hdmi, it may set the resolution to 1080i. You may want to deselect everthing but the 1080P.
