pls clear cmos jumper first. after power on and go to bios by press the key board key. if worked, pls check the O/S setup or recovery setup . pls select select system restore and press restore previous date.
if not working usb key board and install PCI or PCI X usb adapter and plug to key board and mouse to it and go to bios and disable on board usb controller.

If is nor fn button on my computr what can I do for unlock my mouse an keybord

I assume you have a laptop since KB and MOUSE are usually auto enabled by the BIOS on PCs at boot time and by OS after boot. You should be able to re-enable EXTERNAL KB & M in the BIOS (press DEL or F1 usually on power up) look for "enable legacy keyboard & mouse" in the menu system.

My Acer Aspire Z5600 at booting not reading the wireless keyboard and mouse, it's booting but as keyboard is not connecting, I am unable to type my password and get stuck at password screen. Have

try resetting the BIOS to defaults. Also, make sure the wireless KB and Mouse works by testing it in another PC. Acer might be aware of this issue, so try calling them if those ideas do not help.

Ps2 keyboard and mouse don't work. usb works fine

Assuming you have checked in setup that the PS2 is turned on the other option is to re-flash the bios .
At some time someone switched the mouse and keyboard and started up the computer this can cause you to need to re-flash the bios most likely the keyboard chip needs to be replaced sorry to bring bad news .
Dell seems to have this problem yet the USB works is good where most modern keyboards and mouse are USB.
Purple is Keyboard if not color coded the closest to the outer side of case is the keyboard.
Good luck hope this helps you
PS. You may try setting the jumper pins to default the main board back to factory defaults then remove the jumper pin and leave off for first boot .When doing this be aware not to have the power cables connected to the server remove all power cords and the monitor . Prior to doing the first power up plug in the PS2 keyboard only then the monitor. Cross you fingers If you lucky your PS2 port’s will be working again if so shut down re install the jumper pin install the PS2 mouse.

I can't install vista any mouse or keyboard detected

Often times this happens when using a USB keyboard / Mouse.

Or when using a USB keyboard through a PS/2 Converter.

Try using a PS/2 Keyboard if available
(Small Round connector with a small amount of pins, similar to a S-Video connector.)

Also. Access your BIOS settings and assure that you have Legacy USB keyboard support.
Depending on your computer the BIOS / Setup Menu / Options Menu/ Etc. can be accessed by pressing the following key during boot:
F1
F2
ESC
DEL
F12

Let us know your setup(KB and Mouse Port type), and if you have any other issues.

Good luck

Keyboard and mouse not working

Hi,

Just passing by, and i saw your concern about your pc.

sounds like you might have a posible glitch on *********** board.
the message "start set up 12" means the mother board supporting soft ware may be encountering issue.

a simple reset on what we call BIOS might solve this.

Locate the mother board manual and look for the BIOS reset jumper, in some cases just carefully remove the battery then leave it for 2 or 5 min to tottaly reset the bios. its alittle risky cause you might break the battery holder, so go with the jumper setting. and dont forget to place it back to its original position.

Hope it helps!

Processor compatibility

have you tried different memory as no matter what the board says they don't like some memory .
also take the board out of the case and connect pwr supply.
cpu and fan ,video card , and 1 memory stick

no cables ,keyboard ,mouse or drives connected.
this is called bread boarding.
reset the bios jumper, then put jumper back.
and power up.
