Kenmore Coldspot not making ice

Hello, my coldspot stopped making ice and the water that should be making the ice is just freezing on the food and door, where the ice should come out. any ideas on this My ice isn't freezing. The icemaker fills with water but when it goes to dump the ice, it dumps one ice cube and the rest is just water (which eventually leaks out of my ice door and down the front of the refrigerator. Everything else seems to be working properly (freezer temperature, water line, etc.)

Sounds like the flap that u can usually hear once the ice has stoppped coming out it sounds like a pop or thud ...what happens is the magnet goes bad and keeps the ice maker constantly open to the outside air causing ice melting and massive ice cubes.....usually a costly repair...check and lemme know

ps. id have a licenced repair guy check it out

My Kenmore coldspot 71182100 which is almost 9 years old just started leaking water from the freezer onto the shelves in the fridge. I just cleaned out the freezer and got the ice out. There was not...

I have a Kenmore Coldspot Model #69207990 and have the same problem. Water from the freezer drains into the refridgerator onto the shelves and sheets of ice form. A repairman pointed out that the tube leading down from the freezer onto the drain pan was frozen. By pouring hot water down the tube, he reopened this drain line. Problem solved for six months and the drain line froze again. My question is how to stop this drain line from freezing up again.

Icemaker does not make ice. Water is still coming

Maybe the heater that releases the ice is malfucntioning. If the heater comes on all to often, the ice would not have enough time to freeze.

Fresh food section not maintaining cold temp

You're frozen up.  Defrost completely.  Then, clean your condenser.  Make sure to never leave open containers in the fridge...water condenses into ice.  If you still have problems, you may be low on gas.

My Ref.wount make ice

I have a friend who has a kenmore coldspot Model# 7028999 Serial # EJ5040321 and it won't make ice there is water to the coldspot from the angle stop. A new pump was acquired and installled, but no water reaches the ice cube tray area. When ewater is poured into the ice cube tray area by hand, the ice cubes are made and the machine dumps them into the ice holder. What is the reason for no water from the angle stop to the ice tray? could there be an electric switch in addition to the pump device? Bob 512-762-4585
