Most units are designed to "autoplay" audio CDs when they are inserted. When they fail to do so, it could be because the CD is dirty or scratched and was bot recognized, the media player that you are using to play the CD was not in a state that it could autoplay the CD, or there could be a problem with the Disk drive or PC itself. Whenever a CD fails to play upon insertion, go to the "My Computer" icon (win7 or below) and see if the CD/DVD drive shows a disk inserted. If so, clicking on the drive will often start the playback.
It sounds like your game is installed "compact' which means that the main files for the game are loaded on your computer's hard drive but other files, such as graphics that are only used occasionally, but still needed for game play, remain on the CD. Either insert the game CD in the drive or reinstall the game and look for a prompt asking you to choose between full or compact install, and choose full.
From Hyundai Owners Manual: Er6 - DISC ERROR - CHECK IF THE DISC IS INSERTED CORRECTLY IN THE CD PLAYER. MAKE SURE THE DISC IS NOT SCRATCHED OR DAMAGED.
Error 6 means your laser isn't reading disc... needs replaced pick up
laser. I would try first to insert a clean up CD and test your CD
Player with an
original CD, if the problem persist,
you have to go to fix it to a specialist.

To reinstall windows you need the disc for right version of windows that you have the license for. This will be on the COA (Certificate of Authenticity) label which will probably be on the underside of your laptop also with the license key. Some laptop manufacturers supply a 'rescue' disc with the operating system already on it (and the drivers for your laptop too). In some other cases the manufacturers create a 'recovery partition' on the hard drive which can be used to reinstall/restore the OS. Firstly I would check for the recovery partition and if your laptop has one, use this option (check laptop manual for instructions on using this). If you need to use a Windows disc then I would recomend that you find all the drivers you will need for your laptop PRIOR to starting the reinstallation. Also, I recomend that you back up any data/info that you want to keep too. It may be a good idea to write the licence key down on a piece of paper before you start - saves having to flip the laptop over halfway through the procedure. Once you have got your drivers and backed up you data then insert the windows disc and when promted to boot from CD/DVD press any key. The install process will give you messages which are straight forward to understand and follow.
If you have backed up a
game for ps2, you're going to need a mod chip or swap magic for your
ps2 so it can read the disc, so first things first, BUY A MODIFICATION
TOOL!!!
2You should try using Swap Magic, because it's the easiest, and you won't need to modify your PlayStation too much.
3But if you use SWAP
MAGIC, you will also need a special mod chip, SLIDE TOOL, or a FLIP TOP
COVER, you can learn more about those on the swapmagic website
4Read directions on the
installation of mod chip, and swap magic before you do anything (you
don't want to mess up, or else your ps2 won't work properly).
5Install your modchip/flip top cover/slide tool. (This is important, because it allows the disc to be removed and "swapped" without the PlayStation knowing).
6Follow directions that came with your swap magic discs, and you're basically ready to go!
7HOW TO USE SWAP MAGIC,Note you must have Swap magic 3.6 to boot on slimline ps2 and you need to do a none solder modding(no soldering)
Purchase a flip top (recommended). Let's assume you have the flip top and a copied ps2 game
1Now Insert the swap magic disc into the ps2,
2Press power on button until screens comes up.
With option that says load cd open the top cover of the flip top.
