X7170 not powering up

i would take the button bar of and check to see if the cable is off to one side its a flat ribbon cable sounds like it is a little sideways that will make that happen there is a little clip be gentle undo it a little bit and straighten it out

Hi, try removing the battery pack then use the AC adapter or power cord alone. If still the same. Eject the battery and also remove from outlet hang on for 10 minutes. Then try to turn it on again with AC adapter alone

your needle has worn down, or the RCA leads(red & white) arn't plugged in to the phono socket on the amp,or you haven't selected phono on the source select,or you have the tape monitor button switched on.

Hello, Chose another powersource for your device. It is possible that you are tied into a circuit breaker that is constantly resettting. Maybe use an MP3 player for the trip and work on it when you get back.

If you have the Lexmark X7100 Series installation disc that came with your printer, just insert it into your computer's hard drive and simply follow the instructions on your computer screen.
You can also download and install the printer driver by visiting the Lexmark website at http://bit.ly/fWPweq. Select your operating system > click on FILTER > click on the printer driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen.

It could be you crank angle senser.When this happens try throwing some water on it and go for a test drive.When that cools down it will operate normally till it heats up .

Is your printer even powering on? Try to remove the power adapter from the printer(small black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached).


Before reinserting the power adapter, check if it's warm or cold. It could be a defective power adapter issue. Wait at least 10 seconds before replugging the power adapter. That should give enough time for your printer to reset itself.
Check if your printer is functioning now.

Maybe you didn't lose it .......The x7170 doesn't have a black box, it has a power cord only.
