Please make sure that the mute is not accidentally pressed on the remote control.

If mute is not on, and there's no sound in all inputs, speakers are in good condition then this is an indication that the sound output IC is not working.

First thing to check here is the supply voltage coming from the power supply board feeding Pin 13 and 15 of the sound output IC (TDA7293http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40... This IC is mounted on the aluminum heat sink inside the set. If there's a voltage on pin13 and 15 of the IC, replace it with new one.

Isuzu trooper duty 1995 loss of power wont rev over 1800rpm

the cars come with many diff. engines. and EFI systems that match it.
so cant help you.
but ill answer in pure physics.
1: lost DC 12v power to the EFI system causing spark and fuel losses.
2: lost engine compression. 1 or more cylinders.
3: lost spark or never doing a full tuneup every 60k at least.
4: bad fueling, too much or too little.
what do do is a few simple tools to discover the truth.

do you want to gue$$, or test.

I lost power at my house and when the powr came back on my hard drive won't turn back on

how do you know that your hard disk is not turning on? Get the message displayed on the screen when you turn on your desktop first, if it says "boot device failed" or something like that (depends on motherboard model, company and bios version) , check your hard disk is detected or not by bios if not so, open your desktop cup's cover were something made with plastic or rubber on you hand and touch hard disk to see if it is running while pc is on (if running, you will feel something moving inside). If hard disk is detected by bios then it's a case of damaged operating system, just recover or re install operating system. This kind of problem happens for bad sector of hard disk caused by sudden power loss. If hard disk is not detected by bios or running, make sure machine is turned off first, just unplug the power cord of hard disk and plug it back then restart your machine to see if hard disk runs. If not so , go to some repairing shop to check your hard disk.

Sound interference and sometimes loss of sound. If we turn off lighting source it improves but also happens if no other power on except normal supply into our house. Speakercraft is being used in...

Oh boy, you have your work cut out for you. With a whole-house system you have a zillion opportunities for noise and hum to creep into those miles of wire. Start with total disconnection of as much as possible and see what source or output opens the door for the noise as you add it. Then evaluate the cabling for routing near or parallel to power sources, motors, magnetic fields, shielding in general.

The track light thing plagues me, too, for analog sources only. I just work around it by not using track lights when critically listening.

Hi. We're having power outages in TX right now. When power in house came back on, our Philips Home Theatre System (HTS 3544) seems to have lost all its power. We've plugged and unplugged the unit, and...

These are prone to power spikes...and for that reason have a fuse located on the power supply board...known as fast blow fuses...which are glass and easy to see if they have blown..sometimes all you need to do is replace the fuse on the rear of the unit if you can locate a fuse cap...just unscrew and replace....Always unplug televisions and audio equipment and routers during power outages and thunderstorms as a preventative to blowing psu panels on electrical devices connection to your house mains for this reason .

Will the lost of a gas cap hurt the cars take off power?

MAYBE. The loss of gas cap can cause water and dirt to enter the fuel tank, and fuel filter, and lead to a loss in power. get a new cap and the fuel filter repalced. the loss of power may be another problem, but you will need these items replaced first.

Loss of sound on the Denon AVR 2807 a/v surround receiver when I turn on and off lights in my house

Finally the problem was with the HDMI cable. When I pushed it in on the TV set the problem disappeared. It seems the connections must be quite firm on the HDMI cables otherwise anything may interfere to the sound.
