What you will want to use is the windows vista drivers that are available from Wacom

If the drivers fails to install windows it will start the program compatibility assistant. Click the button that says: Reinstall using recommended settings. Hopefully that works for you.

SOURCE: Hi, I need a driver for

Hello
Try to download from:
http://www.wacom.com/downloads/driver-detail.php?id=178

You didn't specify the Vista version (32 or 64 bit), but 99% the 32 bit driver version will be OK. The producer suggests to uninstall the previous version of driver if one is already installed. (to uninstall, go to Control Panel, Programs and features and double-click the item that looks like "Wacom..." or "Graphire...")

Good luck

I have the et-0405-u and i want to use in with win 7 how can i get the driver and a program that i can draw scatches with it

Oh sketches! Gotcha! First of all - check that your pen actually has a 'nib' a plastic rod/insert. I reversed mine bacause it was getting worn, but it fell out and I had similar symptoms, so I have put it back in the right way round and all works fine now.
I do not know if this tablet works on Win7 - most likely does - check at Wacom.com. It works fine on Vista - just plug it in! It will be recognised straight away, mine was. If you have Windows, you should have at the bare minimum MS Paint, or whatever else it is called. If your tablet is responding and correctly recognised, opening up Paint should let you start sketching right away. But if you have any art talent at all you would be far far better off with Corel Draw (or whatever it is named these days), Photoshop or the like - far more possibilities (Corel Draw has all sorts of creative brushes and effects, I have no artistic talent but can produce great things with it).

I have installed the Wacom disk (Pen Tablet Driver) and it is not in my applications folder. I have a Mac and when I go to system preferences under 'Other' it shows Wacom Tablet. I click on it and it...

It sounds like you're running an older Mac based on their legacy PowerPC processors, which aren't compatible with software designed for their newer Intel-based series. The last version of Mac OS X to support the PowerPC line of computers was OS X 10.5.8 Snow Leopard.

If you want to be able to open the Wacom application, you'll either need an older version compiled for PowerPC or, more likely, you'll need to purchase a newer Mac, either new or secondhand.
