Cannot sign into my ebay

Either you're entering it incorrectly (caps lock?) or someone has "hacked" into your account and changed the password on you.

Click eBay and click "sign in". On the next page, click "Forgot Password" as shown below:

Provide the info requested or if unable to, click the Contact Customer Service link as shown below:


You should change the password for any account used with ebay specifically Paypal if it is the same - or an easy password to guess.

To sign in to your eBay account:

a) Go to the Welcome to eBay page.
b) Enter your eBay user ID and password.
c) Click the Sign in button.

You need an ebay account and a PayPal account.

Open Ebay.com
At the top left there is a link "Sign in or Register"
click on Register
It will say "Get started with an ebay account.

If you already have an approved, valid Ebay account
Open Ebay website
Click on Sign in
sign into your account
Click on My Ebay
click Selling
on the left click "Sell an item" and find your item categories

Point your web browser at http://www.gmail.com

If another account comes up, sign out of it by clicking the avatar in the upper-right then clicking "Sign out."

If you then still can't sign in to your account, click the "Can't access your account?" link on the sign-in page.

If you're not able to sign in to your account, you need to get in touch with an eBay representative. Just go to www.ebay.com and click the "Contact Us" tab at the upper right side of most eBay pages, type in "Can't sign in", and then click the "Ask" button. After that, you should see a "Chat with us" option on the right side.

In order for you to change your eBay User ID, please follow these steps:

1. Click "My eBay" at the top of any eBay page. You may be asked to sign in.
2. Under "Account" (or "My Account"), click the "Personal Information" link.
3. Click the "Edit" link next to your current user ID. You may be asked to sign in again.
