If green light comes on for a few seconds and goes off:
On the front of the set (not the remote) press and hold both the menu and input (device) buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds and release both.
Watch power light: it will blink a two digit error code, in your case I suspect it will be 2 blinks, 2 blinks and repeat several times.

Hi
At some point if you can get the computer to stay up for a while, you should go into control panel and check your
POWER settings. The other thing you should try if you haven't already is to shut the computer off and pull out the battery. Then after a minute re-install the battery and see
if that helps.
Good Luck
Joe
ps: If I come up with any ideas I will post.
When you say "screen goes black," does the computer power down, or is it still operating? Does the sleep light come on? Does it respond to the keyboard and mouse? (Example: press the power button momentarily, wait a few seconds for the "Do you really want to shut down" message to appear, even though you can't see it, then hit the return key to answer "OK," and see if it shuts down.) Does the screen go black or come out of black if you tap the computer?
While your computer is working, go to System Preferences / Desktop & Screen Saver, the Screen Saver tab, click Hot Corners, and set a corner of your screen to Put Display to Sleep. Then next time your screen goes black, mouse your way into that corner, pause a few seconds, then mouse back out and see if your screen returns.
1.Make sure your charger is plugged in to your computer, but not your iTouch.
2.Shut off your iTouch(if charged wait and then shut down)If you can't
shut it down.Hold down Sleep/wake button and Home button for about 10
seconds and it will shut down.
3.Hold the home button for 10 seconds, then plug your charger in while still holding it.
4.Keep holding it until a recovery screen comes up(the same screen when you buy one)
5.Open up iTunes, (should open itself) and then click Restore ipod.
Wait around 20Minutes and it should work.
Then it should be done.
(It deletes all your applications, but still works.)
have a jvcgr-smx750 . It was working fine but recently I powered it up with battery, without battery and just ac power cable. Both times it does power up and shows the screen for about 2 seconds, beeps, and then shuts off. Please help
I think you have the display shut off. the button on the bottom left will shut screen off. It will come on for a few seconds if you touch the screen, but will shut off again. just push the display button again and it should stay on.

Boot into "Safe mode" reset the Display settings to 640 x 480.
reboot into normal mode then change the screen settings to your desired resolution.
