Have you installed the printer driver, & follow the instruction's on how to detect the printer cable inseted on the PC..?

Starting with printer in off condition holding reume and then power respectively,now press resume twice and and release power button le green light blink until printhead has finished moving
now is the most crucial information that has to be followed

0 presses - green light - Test Print
1 press - orange light - EEPROM info print
2 presses - green light - EEPROM initialise
3 presses - orange light - reset waste ink counter.

I believe the print heads are under the ink cartridges. They might have little handles on them.

As my longtime experience, it seems that any other material such as broken paper,etc present inside paper path of your printer. Please check and remove the material. If you cannot do this by yourself you may ask someone or take the printer to the nearest service center. I hope this help you then rate this as fixya.

Start with the printer OFF

1. Hold down RESUME and then hold down POWER
2. Release RESUME
3. Press RESUME twice, then release POWER
4. Let green light blink until printer is done futzing

Select function with RESUME press POWER to execute:
presses - light color - function

Number of presses - light color - function
0 presses - green - Test print (or exit service mode on i960)
1 press - orange - EEPROM info print (plus grid nozzle diagnostic on i950)
2 presses - green - EEPROM initialize
3 presses - orange - Reset waste ink counter
