Yes, they probably forgot to install your video card drivers. Do you have an nvidia or ati card? If so, got their website and download the latest drivers for your model and you will be able play those games.
Try to on your windows in safe mode by pressing F8 key when u swith on your laptop befor booting prosses u have press F8 key then u get servel option ther there is 1st option is safe mode select his option and press enter when your pc will be on in safe mode its take 10 to 15 min taking to load windows when u load or on in safe mode then u reset your PC then on it in a normal mode
yup. remeber when you download the driver from dell site, thers an option for you to change the operating system, you need to make sure its for vista and not for xp.uninstall and reinstall the driver.
I'm just shooting from the hip on this on, but I recall one disc being a CD and the other a DVD. You have to have a DVD/reader to run both. If you only have a CD R/W, you only get half the features. Dig?
ok it might not be automatically loading the software, you might have to try to load it manually, what operating system are you using Windows 98 or Vista or?
could try to add ram. laptops rarely have good video cards for gaming, and its prolly using system ram instead of dedicated video ram. If its using system ram, the reaction time will always be slower than if it had a suficient amount of dedicated video ram.
vista is a bugger for keeping bits of everything hidden for a rainy day,i.e half your hard drive. i dont know of a solution to your problem only that if your speck says you have 200g of this and 160 of that,it actually means that it does have that but will only let you see it if you can find the answer to the devista code!!
And if you can do that then your employed by microsoft to show the people that made vista how to get back out.lol sorry
