Wat up hey my disk wont spin right at all ive tried cvuttin it off and let it cool diddnt work though so should ai take it back or clean it with anti freeze

You need to put a small weight ontop of the disc drive and then it should work

Hello Alison hi, we need to check two parts to see which is the problem section why your player wont read.

1. Does your CD spins normally, check your player if the cd spins normally, if you can see the disk spinning, take note of the spin, is it to slow? An abnormal disk spin has problems with its spindle motor assembly.
2. Does your CD spins and then slow down to a stops, did not read the disk. This is caused by two things, FIRST: your CD player lens needs cleaning, you can buy a CD lens cleaner and use it to clean the lens, SECOND: The lens has degraded or worn out due to use and time, this needs a replacement lens assembly.

This things are way beyond a normal user, I suggest you send it for service. Sorry, there are no user serviceable parts here.

Try to clean your fan with anti rust oil, maybe due to old age the mechanism inside your fan is already clogged.

the only thing i can say is to send it back into where you got it from and have them look at it... of course, it might be that you have left it on for too long, but i dont know if you have done that or not... i accidentally left mine on for a couple days while i was travelling, and it slowed the disk reading process down a lot... but that's all i can say...

the disk is not being spun more than likely. thats why i always get open tray. wat u need to do is this
1) unplug it all and take it apart
2) get to the disk drive
3)unscrew the 4 screws on the SIDES onf the drive. not the 2 in the middle 4)take off the cover GENTLY
5)put the drive back intoplace without the top on it
6)plug it up and turn it on
7) observe the disk want to spin but it wont. there is not enough pressure to get it going, wat u need to do it give it a little "push-start" spin it while applying pressure. it may take a few trys to get the disk going fast. it will need to start going very fast.
8) when it does that, quickly place the top back onto the drive without screwing it back on.
it should contunie to spin. turn it off, unplug it, screw the top back onto the drive, then reassemble the 360. works for me EVERy time

you should buy one of those laser disks to clean the laser and inside of the ps2 so it will work again cause mine had same problem and i used that and after it worked
