If you subscribe to a caller ID service through your phone provider, you can block specific fax numbers, so the HP Fax does not print faxes received from those numbers in the future. When an incoming fax call is received, the HP Fax compares the number to the list of junk fax numbers you set up to determine if the call should be blocked. If the number matches a number in the blocked fax numbers list, the fax is not printed. (The maximum number of fax numbers you can block varies by model.)
Thank you.

We have a lexmark x9350 all in one printer, scanner, fax ect. but don't have a user guide ir manual. Can you email us one? Or tell us where to obtain one? many thanks, Roy

You may want to check the driver disc you got with the printer. Many mfrs are not including print documentation but they provide an electronic copy with the supplied media. Otherwise, you can download it from Lexmark at http://images.lexmark.com/publications/pdfs/2007/9300/v1116690_en.pdf

Initial set up for fax.

Turns out I'd never had a problem in the first place. Lexmark - predictably - had people like me in mind when they designed there milti function printers particularly the X9350 Series. All I ever had to do was plug in a phone line into the correct port on the back of the prntr and the set-up software that I installed when I bought it does all the rest. It's terrific! The printer's software automatically found and configured my laptop and activated the fax function in the productivity suite the comes with the printer. There seem to be a lot of smart people at Lexmark. They've impressed the hell out of me.
