Power light on power supply goes off when connected to TV. Sent for repair to local repair shop but informed that the main board had died and no spare parts available for this model. I succeeded in finding a used board that had been fully tested but after fitting and also renewing external power supply, the same problem exists. Could this replacement board be faulty or is some other problem present as there appears to be no power passing through the main board. Help please!!
Fault at its main digital board. Short circuited component/s at it. Contact any service technician; or the authorized service center. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Pull up older posts.

In most cases, the main board might have to be replaced. If so, a software [firmware] update too might be necessary.

can be still the board that has been replaced has some boards can have faults from new but what can be wrong is that most motors have carbon brushes which go into the motor at either side of the motor with 1wire going onto them if these are low then the motor doesnt have enough contact with them so it wont spin properly pull these out and check first but be warned if the washer is under warranty you can void the warranty by letting anyone touch it m8 let me know how you get on and if no help then ill think what else it could be m8

High voltage parts are suspect. Need to put a voltmeter on the
input (primary) side to the high-voltage transformer (big heavy iron
thing in there) Should be getting 120Vac when it goes to cook
cycle. Don't touch the other (high voltage) side of this
transformer. If the power is there, you are looking at replacing
either the magnatron or the high-voltage capacitor and diode. Its
affordable if you do it yourself - buy the part on EBAY - lookup
"universal magnatron"
Hope ya fix it!

This is part # 260527 and is still available for $3.55.
I was not able to locate an ECG sub.

SOURCE: Need replacement microwave to fit existing trim kit
Finally built up the courage to call GE Appliance number and weave my way through the phone menu system. Pressed the right menu option (sales) to speak to someone about trim kits. Found out that the trim kit model number is JX1527MWW. Then called back to select a different menu option (other) and learned from someone else that since the trim kit model is more than 1-2 years old, there's a slim-to-none chance any new microwave models will work with it, and even if there was they couldn't easily cross-reference against a model that old to tell me which one (or something to that effect). So I hit a dead end. Only option for me at this point is to buy a new microwave with new trim kit.
(Personal note: I think the trim kit business is a racket, in bed with the microwave manufacturers. Why else would there be no standard dimensions for microwaves by now--like refrigerators have--and why is it a few pieces of sheet metal cost over $150? Pretty convenient that every microwave model needs its own trim kit model!)

The correct GE part number for the smart board (printed circuit assembly) would be WB27X10257 but I would not go to that expense.
A pretty common problem on these GE by Samsung units is a leaky electrolytic filter capacitor like the one shown in the photo.
That's the fix, to replace the biggest capacitor, in this case.
We regularly repair such control units for
