When the ds is turned on, it just comes up with the calendar and clock, wont go to games to play

When you get to that screen, there should be a menu option for the game that you just tap to start the game. Look for a menu option on that screen that looks like the name of the Game Card you have inserted.
If you want to skip that screen, set the Nintendo DS to AUTO START the game.

I would suggest to get it warranty replaced or repaired if you have it still, Il look more into this soon.

turn on your DS, touch the screen to open the menu(from top to bottom(DS Game, Pictochat, DS Download play, GBA Game) and underneath the GBA Game there is a little button that looks like an open DS... Touch that button, Now you will see a menu with a Wrench and Clock & Calendar, a Person, and a Cross.

Click on the Wrench, and then click on he icon that looks like a globe, form there just choose the language that you want.

try recalibrating your touch screen.
go to the screen with the clock and calendar.
at the very bottom of the touch screen is a DS icon, select it.
next you'll get a screen with: a wrench, clock/calendar, person,a cross hair with a small square in the middle.
select the the cross hair with a small square in the middle.
the DSLite will walk you through recalibrating your touch screen.

Remove the flashcard from the Nintendo DS, the Nintendo DS
is loading the firmware from the flashcard, if the flashcard is removed the DS wil go to the clock sreen of the DS put another game cardridge in
DS to play a game.

dsi and my ds wont play games ds played 1 game yesterday but as stopped again

you can buy an r4 somewhere so the games will work propaly

It may be a bad DS or if you have a game in before the DS fully loads the game's connection is stopped somehow.

try formatting it and if it doesn't work, find out where you got it from and see if you can get a replacement
