I am checking possible solutions for you, meanwhile can you please test in speakerphone mode. So we can conclude whether its Function or Hardware related issue. Thank you in advance
I had the same problem and checked the panasonic site and the solution worked for me. Here it is:
You received a message on the voice mail system provided by your telephone company. To hear the message, dial the voice mail access number provided by your service provider, and follow the voice instructions for accessing the mailbox. Depending on your service provider you may need to clear your voice mailbox to remove the notification. If you have listened to all your voice mail messages and the handset still indicates New Voice Mail just clear the message on the handset by pressing and holding the [OFF] button for about 5 seconds to clear the displayed message on the handset.
I just found this on the internet hope it helps you out.
Use a micro USB cord, either connected to a wall wart or computer. Lift the top corner protector flap to insert it. Then turn the unit ON. This is the only way I have found that it will charge. There is no indicator that it is fully charged so I just leave it on overnight.
yeah first you record your voice then you gotta save it as your answering machine you probibly recorded your face but not save it so goodluck:) if doesn't work send me an email ill try to find more solutions...
I had the same problem. I opened my zen V plus and noticed that the recording switch did not have the proper tactile feedback, which means the spring is somehow jammed and the contact blade can open or close the contact randomly. I scratched away the top half of the plastic casing (which was abnormally soft) and removed with a tweezer the tiny blade that closes the contact. I refit the whole thing back together and it works fine. Obviously the voice recording function is gone, but personally, I don't care...ht tactile feedback (spring not working properly. So I decided
Had same problem. Found online handbook for DS-4000 and page 37 pointed way.
Press menu button on the handset.Go to sub menu. Page 37 of online handbook suggests you can lock and unlock from this but I used the format icon on the submenu to reformat the card. Seems to be working fine now.
I have the same problem
