Max mq340 charging show but not save

Simply plug the phone into your charger. Wait at least two hours, then try again. It is possible for a battery to totally discharge. Could be signs of a battery near the end of it's life. You should be able to USE your phone with it plugged into the charger.

My advice, order a new battery. Go to Amazon.com and/or eBay ... put in a search for your battery's model number (found on the battery itself).

DO NOT CONNECT IT to both poles + - !!! the amp meter have very small internal Ressistance, it blows of :) Connect it like in the picture

Yes, it sounds about right for your vehicle. 13.92 volts with full load is enough to keep the battery charged up.

You put a new battery, now its acting like very low power again?
Most likely the alternator is bad. Maybe not putting out enough to recharge battery. Could have been the original problem.

Can be checked with a meter. Battery at rest should show 12 - 12.9 volts more or less.
With engine running, should be showing 13.5 - 14.7 volts as alternator is pushing electric back into battery.

If you start engine and (after say 10 seconds) voltage stays same or drops, then the charger needs to be replaced. Thats the alternator. Shop around at different auto parts store. (Phone first)

Your battery may have a dead cell, take it out and test it, use a charger and a volt meter, after the charge if the volts are still low then replace it, or you could take it to a parts store and have them test for the dead cell.

lead acid (auto) type batteries cannot be left in a discharged state very long without damage ...if they have been discharged awhile then they will recharge but at greatly refuced capacity ... sometimes they can be recovered but usually its perminant damage .. even if the batteries can be saved it would still take several hours to recharge ...so leaving it on a charger overnight will show you if its a lost cause or not ...you can have the batteries "load tested" usuallly at auto parts stores for free .....they should be fully charged first to save time ...lead acid batteries should always be kept in a state of full charge ...never store them in a discharged condition or allow them to selff discharge (a discharged battery will freeze over the winter) ... charging once a month should keep them healthy .. more often in a car since the computer draws current all the time .. if you have a regulated charger then you can leave it connected all the time for storage ...high resistance battery connectios will have the same effect .. so remove and clean the battery terminals to eliminagte that possibility ... you can have your alternator tested at most auto parts stores ..usually free .. if you have maintainable batteries then check the water level . dont over fill .. use distilled water ...if your charging systems are ok then it sounds like you need new batteries ...

If it runs ok, take it to an auto part store, most of them can pull codes and don't charge to do it. Have them right down what codes pull for reference.

Have the battery and alternator checked by a mechanic or auto parts store. As it is, it would seem your battery needs to be replaced, but if your alternator is bad then your battery may be good and you would just need to replace the alternator and charge the battery.

Why do you feel it isn't charging. Are you going off of a voltage ereadiing? I ask because if it is reading 12 v at the battery , Do not run it very long. The lower the voltage the higher the amps. An Alternator will ocweheat and self destruct if it is working at its high limit for 15 minutes or so. A heavy charge iis normal for 30 seconds or so to make up for the starting drain. But, should show a gradual rise within seconds. An alternator is for battery charge maintenance only and should never be used to charge a dead battery. A dead battery can an will over tax the alternator for too long. A defective battery will do the same thing and it is usually why you have to change the alternator in the first place. So, If your battery is dead or extremely lpw, it should be charged with a charger Do not put a new or rebuilt Aly. sgainst a possible bad battery. most chargers have a few different settings you want to put it ona slow charge for about 4-6 hrs bye slow charge I mean it should have a 2amp or a3amp trickle charge unless you are attempting to start the car immeditly the you will you the setting labled starting
