Dyson DC25 -wand extension lost a spring and becomes disconnected during use. I don't know where spring should be?

The button you push to release the wand has a spring to allow it to spring back after the button has been released. If that spring is missing the wand will not stay attached.

Dirt cup release button is stuck and not operating even after pressing very hard. i am worried it will brake. Please guide.

Hello there! The dirt cup bottom door should swing open quite easily when the release button is pressed. If you are concerned that you may break the dirt cup we recommend you take your vacuum to a Hoover authorized service center for assistance. The UH70015 comes with a 60 month limited warranty. Follow the link below to locate the nearest service center to you. Service Center Locator

Hope this helps!

Cannot release handle or wand when I press the release button. .

We had the same problem.... we had to push both wand and lift way buttons together to make the wand release. I think it is a faulty button issue.

I have a rca universial remote control and I lost the manual and cant program it for my toshiba television I need the code and directions how to program it

Not knowing the code, you'll have to do it using the Automatic Code Search method.

1. Turn the TV ON manually.

2. Press and release the TV button on your remote. The illuminated ON-OFF button will turn on and stay on.

3. Press and hold both the TV and the ON-OFF buttons. The illuminated ON-OFF button will turn off, and then will come back on.

4. Release both buttons after the ON-OFF button turns back on. The button should remain on.

5. Press and release the PLAY button. You may have to do it several times. Be patient.
If the TV does not respond after five seconds, continue to press and release the PLAY button every five seconds until the TV turns off.

6. Just to check the code is right, after the TV turns off, press and release the REVERSE button then wait to see if the TV turns on again.

If that works, you've got it!

Press and release the STOP button to save the new code.

I have a Dyson vacuum. The vacuum won't stay

My vacuum had this exact same problem, but was out of warranty because it was remanufactured. Thankfully, it's a very quick, five-minute fix.
  1. UNPLUG The Vacuum!
  2. Remove the cannister.
  3. Extend the handle and remove it.
  4. Remove the two torx (T-15) screws behind the power button, where the handle normally stows.
  5. There are four tabs holding the front plate containing the power button on; use your screwdriver to release them.
  6. Gently pull the front plate off.
  7. The switch on the right is the power button. Remove it, try clicking it a few times; if it sticks, great! Replace it and reassemble, otherwise you'll need to replace it.

The on button won't stay pressed

Faulty switch, undu the screw with a torx driver where the handle sits and unclip the switch cover out at both sides, be careful not to break it,
where the switch is situated they may be a spring, also test the button, if no good replace
