Oven is showing f2 what is happening

what is the model number. most likely it will be the oven sonsor but it may be the ERC (electronic renage control.

f-2 is usually a runaway oven temp which most of the time means a bad oven sensor.try replacing this first.

Your temperature sensor is inside the oven in the top rear section. It is metal about 3 inches long. You can remove it from inside the oven. The F2 and F4 codes is a bad temp sensor.

The error code means that bad relay on control board.
It could also mean that sensor is not making proper
connection with the board.

I used the self cleaning mode for 2 hours and the error f2 keeps flashing and beeping, I did try to power off with the breaker and left it off for about a half hour and it still continues to beep and flash f2, what should I do?
