I have a reddy heater and it will run for 30 sec and cut out

Check the fuel filter located on the end of suction tube. It requires some dismantling, best to have a manual on it.

The R110 is a spark plug heater, as you know. It does not have the sophisticated electronics that the newer heaters have.

My guess: SP heater runs 30 seconds & shuts down- bypassphotocell. If it runs fine, then the photocell is defective.The test is simpleIf the photocell proves to be good follow these troubleshooting tips

My heater will run for about 5 min. then shuts off, If I unplug it and plug it back in it will run for about 30 sec. I put a new hot surface igniter in it and I only run clear kerosene in it.

thats sounds like a thermocouple problem its located right by the pilote light assembly,,,rod shaped object
