Question about Kitchen Appliances - Others
Could be a bad thermostat, or gas valve, either one....If either is bad, that could be an issue....As long as it lites ok, I would probably start with the thermostat...This is natural gas, correct? If it's electric, there could be other issues, but since you don't mention brand, gas or electric, it's hard to guess? I really need more info, but on electric models there is also a high limit switch, and if that goes bad, you could have this problem as well. Sometimes resetting that switch does the trick, but if it's gas....then I would try the thermostat first....
