DCS double wall oven model WOSD 230 totally dead during first self clean

Ovens shut down during self clean. totally dead. wont recover. door remains locked

My wife just encounter this same problem - door locked up the display is presumabley fried and is completely dead

You almost certainly have a bad lock motor & latch assembly. Please provide model & serial # if you'd like more help, and with more detail on exactly what it will take to repair the oven.

I just got home and heard my DCS WOSD-230 making a beeping sound and flashing codes f7 and f1. There is nothing in the guide about codes. I pushed the cancel buttons and it stopped. The oven seems to work....

I wouldn't worry about it, it may have been a power outage. You already reseted the pcb so you are OK.

Oven door remains locked after self-cleaning

Hi,
Cycling the power off and then on again will sometimes reset it...often you will have to call the customer service number to get the steps to take to unlock that...

I turned on the cleaning switch for my self cleaning wall oven and now it seems to be finished but mthe door lock is still on and the oven keeps making a buzzing noise what do I do?

If the lock does not open after the oven has cooled down, then try this: First, unplug the range or shut off the circuit breaker for ten minutes. Plug the range back in or turn on the circuit breaker. Set the clock and try moving the door lock lever or opening the door. Next, set the self-clean cycle again and only allow it to work for twenty minutes. Cancel the self-clean cycle and allow the oven to cool. Gently try moving the door lock lever or opening the door

Oven shut down during Self-cleaning

tde, sounds like your thermal fuse (TC0) opened on the back side of the oven. If this opens, it will shut the oven down. This happens alot during self cleaning on built ins. Sometimes I have to re-route the tco to a different area to prevent this from happening. Your part number is 4451442. You will have to pull the oven out far enough to remove the back paneling and replace the fuse....Catriver..post back.
