I think you want to know how to zoom on a internet page ..and this is made by holding down the ctrl and scrolling with the mouse or the pad..For other applications ..the zoom is located under preferences..or options ..
For the desktop ..the enlarging and minimizing is made from the properties (click right on desktop and choose properties..or personalize for w-7 )..in there on settings you have the possibility to enlarge icons ..and fonts ..

My HP monitor keeps going to sleep,it reads (power button lockout) How do I fix this?

This is because the monitor's Power Button Lockout function is enabled. Press and hold the Power button for 10 seconds to unlock the Power button function. Your sleep problem should also be related to the lockout issue.

I have a HP Pavilion Elite M9500y desktop PC. The problem I'm having is my web page text size are way too large. Can you help me get my pc back to the correct size? I appreciate any help. Thank you, Melani...

Hi,
Depending on the browser you are using you could get smaller text just pressing Ctrl and - If you press Ctrl and + you get bigger text.
If you let me know the browser you are using maybe I can help further if this does not solve it.

How do i zoom into a page?? my son zoomed out pressing some button on the keyboard and i cant figure out how to zoom back to normal

Your question requires some clarification but I will try to sort your problem out.

Now I do not know exactly what is you computer's configuration (OS, software etc) so if my advice doesn't work do not get frustrated but think of it as a clarification request and reply back with additional feedback.

Now for the solution part, I assume that you are talking about an Internet browser like Internet Explorer or Firefox etc.

Your son used the zoom feature which you can use to your advantage. Just follow these steps:

  1. Open Firefox or whatever browser you use and navigate to the website which you think has been 'zoomed out'
  2. Press and hold the Ctrl key and press 0 key to set it to default zoom level.
  3. To zoom in press and hold Ctrl and + keys and - key to zoom out.

Note that you can also zoom in or out using the mouse wheel (if present) with the Ctrl key pressed.

You can now zoom in or out any page to reduce eye strain. Hope this helps.
