If your Kodak 600H projector is beeping when you turn on the lamp but stops when you turn off the lamp and leave the fan and power on, it could indicate an issue with the lamp or its connection. Here are a few possible explanations:
1. Lamp Replacement Needed: The beeping sound could be an indication that the lamp needs to be replaced. Projector lamps have a limited lifespan, and when they reach the end of their life, they may produce warning signals, such as beeping, to alert the user.
2. Lamp Connection Issue: Check the lamp's connection to ensure it is properly seated and securely connected. If the lamp is not properly connected, it may trigger an error and cause the beeping sound. Try removing the lamp and reattaching it, making sure it is correctly aligned and connected.
3. Lamp Compatibility: Ensure that you are using a compatible lamp for your Kodak 600H projector. Using an incompatible or non-genuine lamp may cause compatibility issues, triggering the beeping sound.
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, it is recommended to consult the user manual for troubleshooting instructions specific to your projector model. Additionally, contacting Kodak customer support or reaching out to a qualified technician for further assistance may be beneficial.

Contact the George Eastman House in Rochester, NY for a possible connection to get a copy of the Kodascope user manual. Most dealers stopped repairing these years ago. Hope this helps !! Jim
Contact the Eastman House in Rochester, NY for a possible lead for a repair manual and/or a qualified repair person. I will tell you that Kodak has not had parts for Pageant Projectors in about 20 years - - - but many authorized repair dealers may still have some!! Good Luck !! Jim
I have a Kodak Instamatic M70 Super 8 movie projector. How can I stop the film from continously jumping? I have adjusted every nob and looked inside to find nothing out of the ordinary.
Check for a switch that says "sound" and "silent." If it's a sound film, it will play the sound in both modes, but the film runs slower in "silent" mode.
