Touchscreen dosnt work properly, i click on the menu button and it usually comes up contacts instaed, then i cant go back it just freezes and no buttons work, i have to switch it of to get back to normal screen again but it just does the same thing again

To change the language
1 press the utility/counter button
2 touch user setting the top left button on the touchscreen
3 touch users choice the left button on the touchscreen
4 under the tab 1/6 the second button on the touchscreen is langauge selection touch this button and you can change the language
if you have recently changed the nv ram and this is what caused the language to change on the machine then post a follow up and i will post the instructions to change the language for this it is a different procedure.

The problem is a faulty contact from the touchscreen leading to the phone board.
On the right side of the phone were the volume buttons are, under the touchscreen is the screen's contact. Try "detaching the screen's face a little from the phone body exactly at the volume down button(using your fingernail or something) and see if the touchscreen is responding in anyway. Now try to pull a little bit the touchscreen frame from the rest of the chassis and see if it works.
Be careful though not to totally destroy your phone...

Sounds like a defective touchscreen.
1. Remove Battery, Attempt to Restart phone. repeat at least twice. 2. heres a method to hard reset this device, if you are unable to do w/o touchscreen take it into your carriers store.
-Press Menu.
-Press Settings.
-Press Reset settings.
-Press All or the settings you want to reset.
-When the box next to a menu item is ticked (V), the setting will be reset.
-Press Reset.
-Key in the phone lock code and press Confirm.
-If it is the first time you use the phone lock code:
-Key in the phone lock code again and press Confirm.
-Press Yes.
2. Contact a service representative of your carrier or take the device into your carriers store, most of the time they will do a hard reset, then replace the phone if you continue having issues.

IF this is your case too...I suggest get a screw-driver and open the chassis, and trying to make the connection permanent, somehow.PS: you can send it back to warranty of a repair phone shop, only to force you to buy a new touchscreen and pay for the repairs, on a 99% working phone, with a faulty contact. The choice is yours:)

Hi. Try doing the following to get your remote working again,

1. Remove the battery, press and hold the 'OFF' button, and re-insert the battery. The screen will display 'Safe Mode!', or the 'Activities' button will be lit.
2. Connect your remote to the computer.
3. Launch the Harmony Remote Software, and log in.
4. Click "Downloads" at the top and click "Firmware".
5. The remote will go through the firmware update.
6. Select "Yes", and click NEXT to update the remote.

That usually takes care of my remote when it freezes. (:

My phone has a bad contact there, and in normal mode all is frozen. Now if I try to pull towards me, the touchscreen frame from the rest of the chassis, only a mm SURPRISE!! My touchscreen is working. IF this is your case too...I suggest get a screw-driver and open the chassis, and trying to make the connection permanent, somehow. I haven't done this yet, but will do it today. If anyone is interested I could post the results:) PS: you can send it back to warranty of a repair phone shop, only to force you to buy a new touchscreen and pay for the repairs, on a 99% working phone, with a faulty contact. my phone keep freezing

Sir I have SIGMATEL T99/S90 mobile. Accidently its flight mode has been activated.
Now I am unable to make any call. Menu button is not working while shortcut keys are
working properly. I am unable to bring my phone to normal mode. Please help me

switch hold button off and on again then press the menu and the center button simutaneausoly until the apple logo appears and goes bright and there .has been reseted
