1999 mercury villager wont transmission wont work once engine is warmed up

How does it work when cold? Like normal? Or are there problems or slippage then too.
As the engine warms up, so does the transmission. As the temp. rises, so does resistance in things like shift solenoids, lock up solenoids, etc. This makes it harder for the computer to make the solenoids work so, this could be the problem. You should have some sort of trouble codes associated with that type of failure. If you have no codes, it may be mechanical. Possibly clutches worn out.
I hope this helps you out.
Good Luck!!!

No Gas Flame

Very common problem. The solenoids when cold will sometime work once then get hot and fail. Replace the coils. I made a short video which shows how it works and how to replace the coils on a similar dryer with the same type of solenoids:

Shift solenoid expidition

The shift solenoids can be changed on some models of transmissions. Check your connector plug for corroded pins first.
I do not have a link to the site you want, but I can tell you there are some pictures and videos showing the shift solenoids and explaining removal. Some are tight and close to the frame, but not impossible to maneuver.
The videos I am referring to may help you determine which solenoid represents which gear. Do a Web search of your transmission type and cross reference it with shift solenoid repair.

depends on trans type.
4R70W- in trans pan, they are the 2 solenoids together, silver in color held in with 2 8mm bolts
E4OD-- also in pan, but it is a block of solenoids held in with 8 or 10 torx (30) bolts

You may have sediment in the shift solenoids,
from however the flushing was done

Your only hope will be an honest trans shop,

We have a 1992 chrysler lebaron v6 3litre when we are driving the car sometimes we feel a pause and it goes into first and then a clunk and the same when it goes into 3rd. Would that be signs of a cv joint...

Sounds like the shift solenoids. A common problem, but before fixing that, try swapping the fluid with Multi-Vehicle type fluid. That transmission, mine included, seems to work better. If no improvement, then shift solenoids
