Try uninstalling the wireless driver in safe mode, and reinstalling it after boot up.

SOURCE: gigabyte k8m800-8237 won't boot with 2nd gig ram installed.

Could have been dusty. Find a copy of Memtest and run it to check things out. Errors could mean a bad stick or bad slot.

SOURCE: Gigabyte k8m800-8237 wont boot with hard drive

sound like you either have a dead SATA socket on the board, use another one, or at worst try a PATA hard drive, second thought is possibly go into the bios and make sure you have no previous hardware raid arrays left behind, sounds odd.. but i have seen it cause similar problems before.

I have a ibm t23 think pad that is not allowing the wireless adapter to connect to the wireless network

click start and go to control panel then select device manager. Click on the arrow or plus sign beside network adapter and select the wireless device driver. Right click on it and select uninstall and restart your computer after. After it restarts, your computer will automatically reinstall the driver you deleted.

If it doesn't work, download the driver update from the ibm website: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?sitestyle=lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-57669. Just make sure you're downloading the driver for WLAN that's compatible with your operating system. You may also have to update your firmware.

Think pad wireless card

You may try the following:

1) Plug the wireless card on another slot
2) Update the drivers of the wireless card

If those does not work, you may try to install the wireless card on another computer just to isolate if the problem is on the wireless card or on the slot of the computer

Error Message on boot

Hi,
IBM requires using a "branded" network adapter, meaning one that has IBM's name on it, no matter if it's broadcom, etc. There is a couple of workarounds for this problem which would enable you to use whatever wireless adapter you wish. I would google IBM R40, and error 1802 and you'll find the application you need. Unfortunately, I'm not able to offer it to you here.
Good luck

Wirless network card

well i think obviously the network card is damaged and causing the pc to stop when checking the pci slot that the card is in. Return to the supplier as the card should light up orange or green when operating normally, and under warranty if Os has a 12 month warranty period. Assuming you haven't had a power surge, they should replace the card.
