You need to have Quicktime 7.0 because the files are saved as a MPEG4. Go to Apple's website and download and install the latest version of Quicktime. Once you do that, you can use any basic movie program (like Windows Movie Maker) or just copy it from My Computer.

An error is preventing the photo or video from being displayed

Your memory card probably got some files corrupted. You need to reformat it. But you will lose all the pictures.

Cant upload image onto facebook

You should try uploading the videos or photos using any other browsers other than the browser that you are using currently.
You have not told us which browser you are using right now, but I would recommend you to use Google Chrome as the browser, just because it shows a small on-screen message (bottom-left corner of the screen) saying "uploading xx%", which will really help you to understand that the files are being uploaded.
If you are using Google Chrome right now, you may try uploading with IE 9 or above or Mozilla firefox. They should work fine.

Let us know, if this solution has solved your issues.

Hope this helps, Mrityunjay.

How to upload a video in facebook?

Once you log onto facebook, navigate to your personal profile. On the left under your profile picture you should see a link that will take you to the photos page. Click this, once you do on the upper right corner there will be a button for uploading pictures and uploading video.

Buy an inexpensive card reader to download your pictures to a folder you create on your desktop. That way, you can select which ones to download to the folder.

Problem with uploading photos from fujifilm finepix s1000

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa.
