Hi Rick. I have a broken HF-10 zoom switch. I bought the camera 2 years ago -- sounds like my best option is to repair it?

The zoom rocker switch is part of the control block assembly and is a common problem on, not only the HF 10 but other models as well. This can be repaired fairly inexpensively but it's not really a user serviceable problem and should be done by a qualified technician. Below is a link to a repair facility that should be able to help you if you need it.

Hello sir, i bought this camera 2 year before. it

This camera has a fault. You cannot fix it by changing settings. It will probably cost more to repair than it is worth now. You can buy a new camera which will be much better than a camera from two years ago and cost less money.

I have a Sony HDR-XR200. The zoom control on top has suddenly stopped working. It still moves, and nothing feels broken, but doesn't zoom in or out.

Zoom will not work

The most likely cause is a broken zoom switch or bad connector flex and can be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it’s not a user serviceable problem and will need to be diagnosed by a qualified service technician.

Looking for a info manual for usgae

You should first check the JVC website for a manual. This is a recent model and a manual should be available for free download. Another option is a website called safemanuals.com. They have a massive database and often can supply manuals that are not available elsewhere. The specific supplier is diplodocs and you will need to create an account. Its free and easy. Good luck

Fuji finepix s3000

This is an easy possibility, Try using an eraser on all the contacts for the batteries. The ones on the battery door and the ones inside the camera. Try to get them shiny, the harder white erasers work best. If that doesn't solve to power problem, the camera may have blown its power fuse internally. That repair would likely cost 50-60$
