Question about Magic Entertech ED-9000 Mic Sing Along with 200 Songs Microphone

Open Question

Magic sing ed 9000 additional song chip wouldn't work.

I cannot choose songs - the songs of the new chip have 5 digits and my tv only allowes 4 digits to select a song. What could be the problem?

Why is there no power on the mic?

try putting fresh batteries, but disconnecting the ac adapter temporarily. If power is intermittent, the power button could be internally dirty. I normally open it up to clean the plastic buttons.

My Magic Sing MT14K karaoke machine does not work when I insert additional song chips. It will turn on, but freezes upon start-up. What can I do about this? Thanks!

Assuming that your machine isn't too old to use the song chips, do you have any chips which came with it? If they still work, then it's unlikely to be the player. Most likely that it simply can't read the new ones. If you got them from a reputable dealer, then I suggest that you seek their advice as they should know about them better than anyone. If not, then there are sites for dealers on the internet, whom I'm sure would be glad to advise you. Sorry that I can't help more and good luck :-)

I hope you have configured the MIC for NTSC. By default it comes configured for PAL (Indian TV standard). The manual explains how to do it.

ED-8000.

You can not because the songs are in different format. the only thing that you can do is to use recording chip, insert in magic sing, record some songs or record your singing then upload it in your PC using the download manager CD and USB cable

the unit comes with a cd download manager (window XP) and a USB cable. the you can uploaaad your recorded songs in your PC.

Entertech mic ed-9000--Mic stopped working

Could be the wiring in the RCA cable.
Swinging mike to and fro can wear through the power wiring inside the cable.
I'm on my 3rd cable.
Manufacturers have said they recognise this is a common fault with product but it seems they are not taking any steps to rectify.
I found that using the mike with batteries sometimes works.
If you get a new cable may be a good idea to reinforce the top 12 - 18 inches of the cable to avoid same problem in future.
