Can the scanner software scan to pdf file - Ricoh Aficio 1027 All-In-One Laser Printer

On the control panel, select scan to computer and choose PDF.

If you are using the sheet feeder, it will scan all pages and create one file with them all.

OR

If you're using a scanner glass, i.e. one page at a time, when the first page finishes scanning, you will get a message asking if you have another - answer YES and follow the instructions (basically that means place next page on scanner glass and hit OK/Continue). Rinse and repeat until you've scanned all pages then answer NO.

You should find a PDF file in your HP Scan Folder usually named "scan.pdf" unless you've changed the settings. (If there is/are already scanned files in that folder, they will have consecutive numbers, e.g. "scan001.pdf" "scan002.pdf" etc

If you are asking about the "SCAN TO PDF" button, it allows the scanner to create a Portable Document Format (PDF) file. PDF files are files that can be viewed with the free Adobe Reader software. The PDF format files are easy to store on your computer and easy to share. PDF files can have many pages. Image files, like JPG, can only hold one page per file.

If you use PDF files, make sure you only get the reader software from Adobe.com.

You need to have a pdf-handling application installed on your computer. At least you should have Acrobat Reader. There are several pdf handling applications on the web. Google pdf. (pdf Architect, pdfTK, pdfBulider etc.)

Scan to PDF is controlled by your software. What OS and software are you running? Under Windows, Nuance's PaperPort, http://www.nuance.com (or OmniPage which includes PaperPort) or Abby Fine Reader Express, http://www.Abby.com , both will let you scan to PDF. Open the software and set the options for scanning to PDF. Then press the scan button in the software. (Depending on the OS and Mustek driver, you may get this to work by pressing the Scan button on the scanner itself. This depends on installing a monitoring program that may be included in the drivers. This "listens" for the button press and then launches the desired software.) Other third-party software may also do this.

If you are using something like Windows Fax and Scan, you'll have to do two steps. Scan and then convert the file from an image to PDF. (There are dedicated programs that convert image files to PDF or you can do this is Microsoft Office or other office suites with the appropriate add-on.)

Use the Scan to PDF software to direct convert your scan page to PDF, download the software to click hear
and simple to install to this software, after installing you get the shortcut in your desktop double click that one and open your scaner is automatic install there put the document in scanner and click scan after scanning click save to PDF and give the save file name and save.

Not all scanners or scanner software scan to pdf since it is a file that is attributed to adobe. There are free pdf converters out there you can download. Maybe after installing it it will show up as an option. If not that, you can buy adobe acrobat and it has an option to create a pdf from you scanner straight up.

I am unclear on your problem but in general..you use the scanning software that came with the scanner scan the document and save the scanned file to your computer as a pdf file for documents or tiff or jpg for photos, (you set the type of file you want to save with the software options)
To print afterwards open the pdf with acrobat and print it

This is almost impossible! THe scanner will scan only one page/image at a time and immediately stored. The roller can pickup only the top page. Are you converting them to a multipage PDF file? Is there any setting in creation of PDF file? If problem still persists, try and reinstall the software after uninstalling the existing version.
