Possible failure of the controller unit. Check and see if all the other functions are working. If so check the water level control unit as in quick wash the level can be set lower. Also if there is no start on the quick wash program then the program controller needs to be rechecked for output.

A128QW BUSH washing machine. When set to number 7 for quick wash when it gets to spin cycle light flashes and nothing happens? do you know what can be done?

If this only happens on quick wash, it could be that this cycle does not spin. I have come across a few washers that do not spin on short or quick wash cycles. If it spins on all other cycles, I would say the machine is OK.

Takes ages to get through wash cycle

You should have a quick wash on your unit. By using a concentrated washing powder you can do your washing on quick wash mode which most manufacturers set to approximate 30 minutes. In a front loader most clothes can be washed on a quick cycle. Because of the way they wash.

Tablet not desolving after quick wash cycle

Find out whether your quick cycle is a wash cycle or a rinse only. If it is a wash it's obviously too short, and the tablet is not dissolving. You do not want undissolved tablets because they will contaminate your rinse water and u end up with soap on the dishes. You can switch to powder if a tablet isn't going to dissolve quick enough on your quick cycle.

Bosch maxx 2860 won't do a quick wash anymore

The timer sticks at one place.
Quite a common problem. The least common is the actual failure of the timer itself. It is much more commonly caused by the failure of the heater, water valve, pump, a broken wire or even a blockage in the pressure system or waste system.
