I own a hppsc2400 from new, which I installed on my previous computer without any problem. I have recently purchased a new computer and although the new computer recognises the printer immediately (the System on my new computer is Vista Premium), when I tried to instal the printer with the cd, so that I can make use of the "HP Directory", the installation terminated half-way with an instruction that "Administrative Rights required". I am the owner and the only Administrator of my new pc. Please can you help. Thanks. Basil Ejindu

Ensure that the drivers are the ones for Vista. If drivers on disk are not the ones for Vista, download from here
HP PSC 2400 Photosmart All-in-One Printer series - Download ...
Additionally, Vista has what is called User account conrol (UAC) interface. This will start the installation program without administrator privileges.

Locate the setup file on the disk, click right mouse button on file, and from the drop down menu chose "Run as Administrator"

It sounds like a leaking filler hose. Not uncommon, and not a big problem to fix, although getting the old cracked hose off and a new one installed can be a dirty and frustrating job. After investigating, you may find a previous owner had once pulled the tank off and just forgot to tighten up the filler hose clamps. , as if fantasy could ever come true.

You need to reinstall the sound card driver, go onto the Dell website and you can download it from there.

HP PSC 1210xi does not accept paper from the paper tray.

Remove IE8. Use add / remove programs. It will put you back to IE7 and your printer problem will most likely be gone.

I bought Streets and Trips recently. I downloaded it to my computer. Then my computer died. I now have a new computer. How do I go about downloading it onto the new computer without paying for it twice?

You can use recovery software to recover setup from your previous computer or make hard drive of your previous computer salve to this new computer and install. But if you have lost setup files then you need to contact website from where you downloaded to get your new copy.
